Richard Risch is the Chairman and CEO of the Risch Group. He launched the firm in 1990 and since has been the force that has developed and managed the growth and strategy of the business for almost three decades.

He is a collaborative leader with a record of recruiting and developing winning teams that grow profitable and successful enterprises for the firm’s clients.  Dick has a broad business background including senior roles in finance and business development. He has worked with clients to increase both their top and bottom line revenue, and help position their organizations as leaders in their industry.

He has broad and deep industry experience in financial services and technology honed over 30 years of working with US & European firms in the Alternative Investments, Private Banking, Cyber Security, FinTech, Investment Management, and Software markets.

Dick has worked closely with experts in the industries the firm serves to study and uncover the individual traits of candidates that drive business performance and has integrated that into the firm’s recruiting process; thus ensuring the client is getting the most strategically aligned candidate for each search.

The Risch Group is the third executive search firm he has built. Born in Milwaukee, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin there and resides in both his home town and Manhattan.
