Letter from the CEO

Having started in the executive search business in 1980, I have the benefit of a multi-decade perspective on the evolution of our industry. This perspective has aided in the development of The Risch Group’s (TRG) business model and has helped to create a platform for delivering search to our clients. I owe the success of our business model to several things. First, I had a great mentor, a creative and innovative executive who was rigorous in his approach to business. Second, I was fortunate enough to run a global executive search business at a very young age. And third, I have worked with the best people in the executive search business and continue to work with them today. Some of the industry innovations that I was fortunate enough to participate in occurred because of the environment I worked in and the people I worked with.

It is from these beginnings that TRG developed its mission—to provide an outcome for our clients that gives them a sustainable competitive advantage. Our existence as a firm is predicated upon our ability to deliver results that measurably improve our client’s business. TRG works constantly to be a thought leader in the industry. We partner with financial institutions, academia, and industry experts to study all factors that drive industry performance, then convert that knowledge into a search process designed to identify and attract industry-leading talent. Our work has taken us to all corners of the globe, allowing us the opportunity to work for some of the world’s outstanding organizations and leaders. We have successfully recruited CEOs and business heads that have had a sustained impact on the performance of our client’s business.
